Eposode 7. - Rise of the Raven

The late crusade led by Cesarini finally sets off to conquer Edirne, while Hunyadi has to deal with internal conflicts and the increasingly bad weather. Meanwhile, Mohammed is given the opportunity by his father to consolidate his position as heir to the throne. When the Hungarian army receives unexpected news from Italy, the fate of the campaign seems doomed. Hunyadi finally takes the lead and encounters a huge overwhelming force on the field of Varna.

Eposode 8. - Rise of the Raven

Escaping from the battlefield of Varna, Hunyadi and his troops are captured by Vlad, the Voivod of Wallachia, together with his son and brother-in-law. Elizabeth is forced to act before her family falls into the hands of the Turks, but her only hope is Miklós Újlaki, whose military support comes at a great price. Meanwhile, in Edirne, Mohammed begins to reign as a sultan. But when it becomes clear to him that Mara's loyalty remains with Murad, he takes an action that neither of them expected.
