Ferenc Snétberger has been internationally hailed by critics and audiences as one of the few genuinely distinctive voices on contemporary guitar. With every performance he takes the listeners on a different journey (of surprise, wonder, and emotion) through his stylistically own world of classical and jazz music, influenced and informed by native gypsy tunes, flamenco guitar techniques, samba rhythms and, of course, by Bach.
He has released several albums of his own, and has contributed to many more. He has appeared in concert in almost every European country, as well as in Japan, Korea, India, Vietnam, and the United States. In the summer of 2018, he was awarded with Germany’s most prestigious distinction, the JTI Trier Jazz Award.

As in most of my concerts, it can happen that spontaneous improvisations flow into my concert.
