The Hungarian National Ballet's theatre visit programme is resuming in the 2019/20 season. Due to the renovation of the Opera House, the theatre visits will be held at a new venue: the Erkel Theatre. 
The Hungarian National Ballet welcomes applications from nursery schools and primary schools interested in sending groups of younger schoolchildren to participate in the theatre visit programme. During the theatre visit tour, the children will be led on a walk around the theatre building, where they will get a look backstage and at the ballet costumes, as well as a chance to try on pointe shoes. At the end of the programme, the children can even look forward to a bit of dance instruction!
The programme starts at 9 am on each occasion.
 
The fee for participation is HUF 1 500/person, with free admission for up to three accompanying teachers.
Groups of up to 25 people, including the accompanying teachers, can be accommodated.
