Sokan ismerik a mese alapját, mely rávilágít királyunk emberi, s uralkodói nagyságára is. Mátyás ebben a mesében is álruhában járja az országot, ahogy azt oly’ gyakran szokta volt. Most épp’ Cinkotára látogat deákként, s meg sem áll a kocsmahivatalig... Keresvén a helyi papot, a kántorral akad össze. Szokásához híven, uralkodónk kérdéseivel teszi próbára e jeles férfiút. A próba túl jól sikerül, ám Mátyás király, ahelyett, hogy megharagudna az éles eszű kántorra, aki csaknem túljárt eszén, megjutalmazza őt. De úgy ám! Ezek ilyen idők voltak…

A magical meeting of two anniversaries on the Müpa Budapest stage: the Talamba Percussion Group is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with a 21st-century arrangement of a piano cycle by Mussorgsky's piano cycle Pictures of an Exhibition as it turns 150 itself: following on the heels of Emerson, Lake & Palmer and Isao Tomita with their versions, they are presenting their own take on the 19th-century masterpiece, this one revised for percussion and electronica, and featuring DJ Bootsie.
