Grace, the ninety years old country woman returns home from the hospital to die in peace. Glorie, with a broken past of New York career and the loss of her child, appears at the old lady’s cottage as a volunteer hospice worker. The twosome of theirs – the foul-mouthed but wise and good-humoured Grace, and the tense, unbalanced and guilt-ridden Glorie – becomes a source of loud quarrels but as well as laugh and love, in which Glorie gains new perspectives on life’s values.
