Piaf! The Show is a performance that presents the life and career of Edith Piaf, directed and compiled by Gil Marsalla. The show has been performed in more than 50 countries and in 400 shows, selling over one million tickets worldwide. Edith Piaf's close friends, such as Ginou Richer, Edith Piaf's private secretary, Germaine Ricord, her friend, and Charles Dumont and Charles Aznavour, agreed that this was "the best tribute to Edith Piaf's career ever made."
Piaf! The Show consists of two 45-minute parts and tells the story of her life using her most famous songs, with a unique set and previously unseen images. The lead performer of the show is Nathalie Lermitte, one of the best interpreters of Edith Piaf. Nathalie started singing at the age of six and released her first album at eighteen, with two of its songs selling over 400,000 copies. Nathalie played the role of Cristal in the musical Starmania, and subsequently appeared in musical roles, most often as Edith Piaf. She joined the Piaf! The Show team in 2018, where she achieved great success worldwide, with performances from France to the United States and South America.
The performance of Piaf! The Show on the stage of the Erkel Theatre will bring together life, music, and memories, making it one of the most memorable concerts of the year.
