“Meet conducting’s next superstar,” readers of The Telegraph were invited to read the British newspaper’s long feature on the amazing Lithuanian conductor. Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, who is in her early thirties, has been at the helm of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra since 2016, following in the footsteps of such predecessors as Simon Rattle, Sakari Oramo and Andris Nelsons. She and the orchestra partner up for their programme at the Budapest Spring Festival with a true legend, Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder.
