Hét versenymű, huszonegy tétel. Bach valamennyi billentyűs hangszerre írt szólóconcertója egyetlen estén. A Szokolay Balázs által megszólaltatott kompozíciók a zongoraverseny műfajtörténetének kiemelkedően fontos darabjai, úttörő jellegüket az a körülmény sem csökkenti, hogy eredetileg egyik kompozíció sem billentyűs hangszerre készült: korábban született hegedűversenyek, oboaversenyek átiratai. Néhányan azt sem tartják kizártnak, hogy e művek legelső előadásait Bach a korábbi darabok kottájába pillantva rögtönözte, a lejegyzés pedig megpróbált visszaadni valamit az improvizáció tapasztalataiból.
Szokolay Balázs és a Liszt Ferenc Kamarazenekar különleges vállalkozása annak a koncertnek a folytatása, melyen az együttes és a zongoraművész, valamint három fiatal pianista – Szőke Diána, Lajkó István és Dani Imre – Bach összes két, három és négy csembalóra írt versenyművét egyetlen koncerten szólaltatta meg.

At this concert in memory of his life and work, in addition to an early piece of electronic music and a late choral work, we will hear compositions of his that are closely linked to the sounds of jazz and improv performed by prominent artists from the Hungarian jazz scene.
