It is however as a composer that his musical statement has grown. Now with his new Trio he brings fresh compositions and arrangements to the stage, as well as performing many audience favou ri tes from his past recordings and live shows. Accompanying him on stage is a new talent ,pianist and composer E lchin Shirinov from Azerbaijan , who has been inspired since an early age by great musicians and who always knew he want ed to be become a jazz pianist. Avishai ͛ s other worldly partner on stage, is the multi-talented and gifted Israeli p ercussionist Itamar Doari, who has previously recorded and performed worldwide alongside Avishai in varied formations, featuring on past album successes such as ͚ Aurora ͛ (EMI / 2009), ͚ Seven Seas ͛ (EMI / 2011) and ͚ 1970 ͛ (Sony 2017) .
